NDC Communicator Allegedly Stabbed to Death by Wife in Asante Mampong

In a tragic incident on the night of April 4, 2024, a 45-year-old National Democratic Congress (NDC) communicator in Asante Mampong, Osei Yaw Akoto, known as ‘Borga,’ was reportedly fatally stabbed during a heated altercation with his wife.

According to reports, the altercation escalated, leading to the stabbing. His friend, George, who resides nearby, recounted that the couple, both trained teachers, often quarreled, but the intensity of the altercation that resulted in Borga’s death was unexpected.

Upon receiving a distress call from Borga’s son, who sought help for his injured father, George rushed to the scene to find Borga lying in a pool of blood with stab wounds to his chest. Despite efforts to save him, Borga succumbed to his injuries within 15 minutes of arriving at the Asante Mampong Government Hospital.
