NDC Calls for Emergency Meeting with EC Over Inconsistencies in Provisional Voter Register

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially requested an emergency meeting with the Electoral Commission (EC) to address significant discrepancies identified during the ongoing 2024 voter exhibition exercise.

The letter, signed by NDC General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, highlights concerns over inconsistencies found in the provisional voter register provided by the EC and those displayed at exhibition centers across the country.

The voter exhibition exercise began on August 20 and is scheduled to conclude on August 27. The NDC’s request emphasizes the urgency of resolving these issues to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections.
