National Service Scheme Releases First Batch of Postings for 2023/2024 Service Year

 

The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced the release of the first batch of postings for the 2023/2024 service year. A total of 122,275 National Service Personnel have been assigned to various sectors of the economy to undertake their one-year mandatory national service.

 

According to the official statement, the second batch of postings will be released at a later date. All deployed service personnel are required to follow the validation and registration process outlined by the NSS.

 

The validation and registration process is as follows:

1. Log onto the NSS website at www.nss.gov.gh to check for placement.

2. Print the appointment letter and go to the place of posting for endorsement of the appointment letter.

3. Book an appointment online for the registration process after the endorsement.

4. Visit the assigned NSS Regional Validation and Registration Centre with the endorsed appointment letter and a valid Ghana Card to complete the process.

 

It is important to note that regional validation and registration will commence on Monday, October 16, 2023, at all centers across the country. The official start date for the 2023/2024 National Service Year is Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
