National Farmers’ Day Set for November 8

The Ministry of Agriculture has announced that the 40th edition of Ghana’s National Farmers’ Day will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024. This year’s event is scheduled to be held at the Alisa Hotel in North Ridge, Greater Accra Region, starting at 4:00 p.m.

According to a press release from Acting Chief Director Paul Siameh, regional-level celebrations have been set aside this year. Instead, each region is permitted to nominate winners in ten regional award categories. These nominees will be recognized during the national Awards Night Ceremony in Accra, where Regional Ministers will present awards to honorees from their regions.
