Ghanaian business mogul Nana Kwame Bediako, fondly known as ‘Cheddar,’ has sparked significant interest and intrigue with the alleged release of his proposed policies as an independent candidate for the anticipated 2024 presidential elections. Determined to challenge the stronghold of established political entities, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bediako aims to revolutionize Ghana’s political landscape.

Outlined in his ambitious policy agenda are groundbreaking reforms that encompass diverse sectors crucial to the nation’s development. One of the headline-grabbing proposals involves initiating a constitutional change, emphasizing swift justice by promising to prosecute all corrupt former officials within a strict 30-day timeframe upon assuming office.

Education reform is also a focal point, aiming to equip students with practical skills in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), IT, Engineering, Agriculture, and more. Furthermore, he advocates for student loans for all tertiary students to enhance accessibility to higher education.

Beyond his policy proposals, Bediako asserts a commitment to lead by example, vowing not to accept a presidential salary, self-fund his domestic and international travels, and forgo residing in the Jubilee House, designating it as a potential tourist attraction.
