Mohammed Kudus Wins Second Consecutive Footballer of the Year at 2024 Ghana Football Awards

Mohammed Kudus has been named Footballer of the Year at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards, securing this prestigious title for the second consecutive year.

The West Ham United midfielder surpassed competitors Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Osman Bukari, and Inaki Williams to claim the award once more.

Kudus had an outstanding debut season with West Ham United, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 45 appearances. His exceptional performances propelled the Hammers to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League, where he scored five goals.

The 23-year-old also played a crucial role for the Black Stars, participating in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Ivory Coast. Despite the team’s early exit, Kudus made a notable impact by scoring twice during the tournament.
