Kylian Mbappe scored twice to lead Paris Saint-Germain to a stunning 4-1 comeback victory over Barcelona, securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League semifinals.
The French forward converted a second-half penalty and then scored a late rebound, as PSG overturned a 3-2 deficit from the first leg to win 6-4 on aggregate.
Barcelona started strongly, with Raphinha scoring a close-range goal in the 12th minute after a skillful play from Lamine Yamal.
However, their momentum was halted when Ronald Araujo was sent off for a foul on Bradley Barcola in the 30th minute, reducing Barcelona to 10 men.
Taking advantage of the extra man, PSG equalized just before halftime with Ousmane Dembele, a former Barcelona player, finding the net.
The second half saw PSG dominate, with Vitinha scoring a superb long-range goal to put PSG ahead. Mbappe extended the lead with a clinical penalty in the 61st minute.
Mbappe sealed the victory with another goal late in the game, bringing his season tally to 41 goals. PSG will now face Borussia Dortmund in the semifinals.
