Ghanaian gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong has cautioned citizens against supporting former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming election.
Acheampong believes that Mahama, if elected, would lead the country to suffering as he has “nothing to lose.”
In a viral video, Acheampong expressed his concerns, stating, “Mahama is coming for revenge.
He is coming to pay the people of Ghana back. He does not have any election to contest, so he should not be considered.”
He emphasized the importance of electing a leader who would be accountable and face challenges through elections.
Acheampong urged voters to support a candidate who would come and beg for their votes, implying that such a leader would be more accountable to the people.
He warned that Ghana would suffer if Mahama were elected without having to face another election.
