It is emerging that apart from the appointment of Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia to the Parliamentary Service Board, there are a series of other top parliament positions the speaker has appointed prominent NDC members to since his election on the night of January 7.
This was disclosed by Majority Leader Kyei-Mensah Bonsu who was bemoaning Mr. Bagbin is making parliament an enclave of NDC top figures and fanatics which is unhealthy.

He also disclosed that Bagbin has appointed three former NDC MPs to various positions in Parliament including the Vice Chairman of the party, Mr Kofi Attor as an Advisor.
Bagbin has also appointed Mr Gayheart Mensah who is also taking a position in the Speaker’s office.
“You have brought in Kofi Attor who is the Vice-Chairman of a party as an advisor. He has brough in tow former MPs he says he is bringing them on as advisors, Asiedu Nketia, General Sceretary, of the party and then Gayheart Mensah, he is also coming to the Speaker’s office,” he fumed.
He also appointed Asiedu Nketia despite concerns opposition from NPP in the chamber.

Despite the concerns raised, Alban Bagbin insisted that Mr Asiedu Nketia met the necessary criteria and therefore, his unwavering decision to appoint the former MP for Wenchi West onto the Board.
