Libyan Driver Arrested for Reportedly Smuggling Six Nigerian Women

A Libyan driver was arrested on Tuesday in the Bishr area of Libya for attempting to smuggle six undocumented Nigerian women. The arrest occurred during a routine police patrol, which intercepted the vehicle carrying the women.

According to Migrant Rescue Watch, an organization that monitors migrant activities, the driver tried to evade arrest by falsely claiming that the women were his family members. However, authorities quickly saw through the deception and detained both the driver and the women.

All individuals involved have been transferred to the Bishr Police Department in Libya for further legal action as the investigation continues.
