Legon Botanical Gardens Set to Close Permanently on October 30, 2024

Mulch Company Limited has announced that the Legon Botanical Gardens will permanently close on October 30, 2024. The news, shared via a post on X (formerly Twitter), has sparked various reactions from the public.

While the reason for the closure was not disclosed, Mulch Company reflected on the impact the garden has had, stating, “We believe we have been able to put lots of smiles on countless faces all these years.”

The Dutch company, in collaboration with the University of Ghana, managed the gardens through a public-private partnership, transforming it into a beloved ecopark frequented by both Ghanaians and international visitors.
