Sharaf Mahama, CEO of Legacy Rise Sports, officially launched his sports management company with a grand event over the weekend, drawing together some of Ghana’s most prominent sports figures. The event showcased the company’s commitment to promoting local talent through a series of exciting boxing matches featuring rising stars like Abu Kamoko, Thomas Ayanatoya, Kevin Carter, and Samuel Lartey.
Legacy Rise Sports, which manages fighters like Abu Kamoko and Kevin Carter, aims to elevate sports in Ghana by identifying and nurturing talent while providing athletes with the necessary tools to succeed both on and off the field. The event was attended by notable personalities such as Azumah Nelson, Stephen Appiah, Anthony Baffoe, Fatau Dauda, and Joseph Prince Agbeko, who expressed their support for the company’s mission.
In addition to the boxing bouts, the audience enjoyed performances by Sherifa Gunu and Olivetheboy, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that highlighted the company’s vision of combining sports and entertainment.
Speaking at the launch, Sharaf Mahama outlined his vision for Legacy Rise Sports, emphasizing the company’s dedication to using sports as a tool for social change and promoting Ghanaian sports on the global stage. He also called on individuals, organizations, and institutions to support Legacy Rise Sports through partnerships, sponsorships, and other means.
In recognition of his contributions to boxing in Ghana, Sharaf Mahama was honored with a boxing belt by the Ghana Boxing Association (GBA).
