Koka Dragged to Ga Mantse Palace Over Comment Against Ga People

Kweku Osei Korankyi Asiedu, popularly known as Koka, has been invited to appear before the Ga traditional authorities following comments he allegedly made on social media concerning the Ga people.

A letter dated March 3, 2026, from NAE-WE described as the House of the Highest Priesthood of the Ga State, formally invited him to meet the Ga chiefs and priests at the Ga Traditional Council, Ga Mantse Palace in North Kaneshie, Accra.

The invitation states that he is required to provide clarification regarding remarks he reportedly made about Randy Abbey. The letter indicates that the High Priest of the Ga State and the Chiefs of the Ga State directed that he appear before them to address the matter and offer any necessary explanations.

His presence is requested on March 5, 2026, at the Ga Traditional Council at the Ga Mantse Palace.

The correspondence also urged him to treat the invitation with the seriousness it deserves.

The development follows public concerns over statements perceived to be offensive toward the Ga community, prompting the traditional leadership to intervene.
