The Management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially declared two former students, Mr. Ransford Fosu-Boateng, also known as “Scammer Baby,” and Mr. Raphael Appiah Owusu, persona non grata, barring them from accessing the university campus.

In a statement signed by Deputy Registrar Daniel Norris Bekoe, KNUST revealed that Fosu-Boateng was dismissed in March 2022, while Appiah Owusu’s dismissal took effect at the end of the 2023/2024 academic year. Despite their expulsion, both individuals have reportedly continued to infiltrate the university’s premises unlawfully.

The university accused them of engaging in disruptive conduct, harassing students, and participating in an unlawful assembly that resulted in vandalism and destruction of property. Their actions were captured on campus CCTV systems and subsequently confirmed by authorities.

“The University Management wishes to categorically state that these individuals are no longer bonafide students of KNUST and are henceforth not permitted to access or loiter within the premises of the University,” the statement read. “They have been declared persona non grata and are to be treated as trespassers should they be found within any part of the University community.”

KNUST further warned current students against associating with the two former students, stating that anyone found aiding or abetting them will face severe disciplinary action.
