Former Ghana midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has said he would love to return to the Black Stars after a tumultuous exit.
The former Germany youth international switched allegiance in 2010 to join Ghana’s squad and played at the FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa.
Four years later, he was thrown out of camp in during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and handed an indefinite ban for insulting head coach Kwesi Appiah.
In an Instagram live chat with half-brother Jerome Boateng, Kevin spoke about his unfinished business with the Black Stars.
”My relationship with Ghana is still intact. I still feel close to them,” the former Barcelona player said.
”With the national team, I didn’t like the way it ended because they gave me so much.
“But you never know, maybe I can go back and play one more time again. Or maybe the coach, you never know.”
