Ghanaian politician and prominent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential election candidate, Ken Ohene Agyapong, has decided to cancel his intended media engagement, which was set to take place today. Agyapong, who represents the Assin Central Constituency in Parliament, had planned to brief the media and the public on his team’s strategies as the party gears up for the forthcoming flagbearer elections.

Having recently concluded a comprehensive campaign tour across all 275 constituencies, the outspoken and unconventional politician had initially scheduled the media engagement to occur at the Marriott Hotel in Accra. However, through his official social media accounts, Agyapong announced the unexpected cancellation of the event.

While specific reasons for the cancellation were not disclosed by Agyapong himself, reliable sources have indicated that it was necessitated by crucial meetings that the flagbearer aspirants were expected to attend. These meetings were scheduled to take place at the party’s headquarters in Accra and involved interactions with the Party’s Council of Elders and Election Committee.
