A group of individuals, including some in military and police uniforms, raided the residence of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred in Cantonments while Ofori-Atta was reportedly out of the country. Some family members, including his wife, were present during the raid.
According to Channel One News sources, about 12 individuals—five in military uniforms, one in a police uniform, and the rest in plain clothes—carried out the operation.
Ofori-Atta is said to have been in the U.S. on medical grounds since early 2025 after notifying the Chief of Staff.
The motive behind the raid remains unclear, and it is yet to be determined whether anything was taken from the residence.
Authorities have not issued an official statement on the incident.
