JUST IN: NDC Supporter in Tamale Set Towns on Fire and Block Roads

Information reaching our desk is that some aggrieved supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Tamale has set some towns on fire.

In the video sighted by Ghanaarticles.com, some motor riders were seen riding the motor on the street recklessly.

We also see some car tyres set ablaze lying on street.

Their actions follow after the EC Chair, Jean Mensa declared Akufo-Addo as the president-elect in 2020 general election held on Monday.

However, soon after the declaration of the presidential results by the EC, the NDC in a press conference rejected the results and Akufo-Addo as the winner.

Mr Iddrisu Haruna addressing the media said, “We will resist it, for emphasis let me repeat, we roundly reject and out-rightly reject the declaration of the sitting president as the winner of the elections.”
