The National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been banned by the Ghana Police from holding further protest in Accra.
The Ghana Police in an official press release have restricted the opposition party from embarking further protest.

Since the declaration of the presidential result which saw Akufo-Addo emerged as winner over John Mahama.
The NDC have held series of protest in Accra, Kumasi, Tamale and some parts of the country against the results.
According to the NDC, they believe the just-ended general elections were rigged in favor of the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo.
Yesterday, NDC Members of Parliament marched in a protest to the headquarters of the Electoral Commission to present a petition to the chairperson of the EC.

But, they were met with the brute force of some armed policemen.
According to Ghana Police, the ban on NDC protest in Accra begins from Sunday, 20th December 2020 to 10th January, 2021.
