The Ghana Police Service has arrested award-winning comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng known as Funny Face over threats to take the life of his baby mama.
Funny Face in recent videos and write ups on his Instagram page vowed to end the life of his former wife, Miss Vanessa Nicole for using him to extort monies from people.
The “Cow and Chicken” actor said he was also going to kill himself describing his baby mama and mother as prostitutes.
Funny Face in the said video demonstrated serious anger against people who have been on his side all this while throughout his episodes.
“You mother,Vanessa. I’ve already told you that I shoot you. I’ll just shoot you and kill myself after that,” Funny Face said in the video.
He further attacked personalities including Despite Media’s Fadda Dickson, Bola Ray and others who have been by his side in trying times.
The Police said they followed the videos and posts shared on social media and acting on that intelligence, have picked up Funny Face to help in their investigations.
However, due to his history, the police shall submit him to court for an order for psychiatric examination, to determine the next line of investigation action.
The Police used the opportunity to assure the public of their safety.
