Special Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has vehemently refuted claims of benefiting from a scholarship awarded by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).
The denial follows allegations linking her to a list of individuals who purportedly received scholarships from the government.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Mogtari accused members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of spreading falsehoods to tarnish her reputation.
She clarified that she has never applied for nor received any grant or scholarship from either the GNPC or Ghana’s Scholarship Secretariat.
Additionally, Mogtari debunked claims suggesting that she was a student at Portsmouth University.
She urged the public to disregard the propaganda and treat the publication with contempt, labeling the NPP and Vice President Bawumia as dishonest and untrustworthy individuals.
