Dr. Osei Bonsu, a political science lecturer and analyst has called on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to replace Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang if they want to regain power.
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has projected victory for opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections though the polls are years away.

The EIU, however, says it expects the opposition to present a fresh face for the presidential contest despite reports that former President John Mahama will contest to lead the party again.
However, Dr. Bonsu holds a different opinion. According to him, if NDC wants the former president, John Mahama to bring them back to power again in 2024 then, they replace his running-mate.
He further stated that, they should replace Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang with someone who can relate easily with the grassroots and sell the party to the public.
In an interview with Accra-based Onua FM, monitored by Ghanaarticles.com, Dr Bonsu said, “if NDC insists [on] choosing her as the running mate for Mahama, it would affect their future chances.”
