Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi Killed in Helicopter Crash – State Media Reports

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has died in a helicopter crash, as confirmed by state media.

Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also perished in the crash on Sunday, along with several others in north-western Iran.

Rescue teams who arrived at the crash site in north-western Iran earlier reported finding “no sign of life.”

The helicopter, part of a convoy of three, crashed after encountering difficulties due to heavy fog in the northern region of the country.
