Award winning rapper, strongman has refuted the calls for him to battle Yaa Pono.
Strongman added that he respects Yaa Pono so much and he doesn’t think it will be suitable enough for him to battle him. Fans of the two rappers, recently insisted on social media that the two rappers should have a rap battle. However, after all these “ pressure” from fans, none of them have succumbed to it and have kept mute on the issue.
Strongman told Mzgee via Skype on tv3 new day that it will not happen.
“Yaa Pono is like a godfather to me…so there wouldn’t be any battle of that sort. I knew Yaa Pono like two years before I even got to meet Sarkodie”. He revealed. He later added that “I do respect Yaa Pono any day, any time.
The rapper also revealed that he talks to Yaa Pono a lot and that they have a very good relationship.
”This game, respect is very necessary, so for me I do respect a whole lot of people in this game. That is why when someone comes to disrespect me I feel bad”. He said expressively.
Strongman added that he will only choose to react to a beef only when someone throws a shot at him. Meanwhile he stated that he is not afraid of any rapper in Ghana but he respects people.
