Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa or Evangelist Mama Pat, has stirred public reaction once again after a new video surfaced showing her distributing bags of rice and cash to women in her church.
According to her, the money used for the gesture came from the $800 dollars Sammy Gyamfi, the acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board gifted her
In the video, she openly asked the women to thank Sammy Gyamfi and President John Dramani Mahama for the $800 donation, which she said she used to support her congregation.
This comes shortly after Agradaa publicly pledged to return the money following intense backlash over a video that showed Sammy Gyamfi handing her what appeared to be US dollars.
The footage sparked widespread criticism, particularly from opposition figures who questioned the ethics of a public official gifting cash to a controversial religious figure.
In a live broadcast, Agradaa expressed concern for Sammy Gyamfi’s reputation and career, stating, “I will return the $800 and even double it. I will go to his office with my camera and show Ghanaians I have returned it. My conscience won’t allow me to sit back if this will cost him his job.”
However, the new video of her distributing the rice has raised fresh questions about whether she followed through on her promise.
