Renowned journalist Kofi Adoma Nwanwani has publicly expressed heartfelt gratitude to businessman Ibrahim Mahama for his overwhelming support following a shooting incident during festival celebrations in Dormaa. In a touching video on Kofi TV, Adoma recounted how the younger brother of President John Dramani Mahama came to his rescue during one of the most difficult moments of his life.
According to Adoma, after learning about the incident, Ibrahim Mahama reached out, offering immediate assistance. “Ibrahim Mahama’s private jet flew me from Dormaa to Accra. He even suggested hospitals in South Africa and other countries. You were there for us. God bless you,” he recounted emotionally.
The journalist revealed he was unaware of the familial ties between his wife, Miracle Adoma, and Mr. Mahama at the time. He attributed his wife’s compassionate nature to the values instilled by her family, highlighting the admirable qualities shared within the Mahama family.
Touched by the businessman’s kindness, Kofi Adoma expressed a wish: “I pray Ibrahim Mahama enters Ghanaian politics, but his good heart may not survive it.” He acknowledged the harsh nature of the political arena and implied that such generosity and humility might be stifled in that space.
He also extended thanks to Dr. Kwaku Oteng and numerous Ghanaians who supported him with prayers and well wishes during his recovery.
