‘I Owe ECG 8000 Cedis – TT Is Back To Begging After Getting Donation To Pay His Rent

Veteran Ghanaian actor Psalm Adjeteyfio aka TT has come again for another request and this time it’s for his electricity bills.

Speaking in an interview on Citi News Room, TT disclosed that he is currently owing The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) a whooping sum 8000 cedis.

He explained that for a long time, he has not been receiving bills so he didn’t know what he owed.

He added that despite not receiving the monthly bills, he has been paying his own amounts.

GhArticles.com earlier reported that the veteran actor and the Taxi Driver Drama actor came out to cry for help to pay his rent amid eviction.

Following the viral video of TT begging for help, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has come to the aid of the veteran actor known widely for his role in the TV series Taxi Driver.

TT as he is popularly known as in an interview revealed that he needs an amount of GHC3,000 for his rent or risk been evicted.

He said regardless of the name he made for himself, he could not put up a structure he could call his own.

“I do not even have a place I could call my own, I live in a rented apartment,” he said.

But in a comment on Facebook, lawyer Akbar Yussi Khomeini who work at the office of the Vice President said “Truth is that we have already dealt with this morning. I am meeting them tomorrow to hand over money to them.”

Meanwhile, another source close to the Vice President claims that Mr Bawumia is working on securing a permanent accommodation for him.
