Ghanaian renowned gospel artiste, Great Ampong has debunked claims that he had said that his party, NPP pay no attention to him.
Speaking in an interview in Akoma Fm’s Entertainment 360 show with Tony Best, he cleared the air and mentioned he never said anything of that sort.
“I read the story too and didn’t get bothered to respond because one of Ghana’s former president told me not to respond to any story I hear about me if I know it isn’t true and due to that I’ve stayed mute when I heard that allegation”. He said.
The renowned gospel artiste used the interview platform to talk about his latest release tilted ‘Coronavirus’ which is dedicated to the fight of the deadly pandemic.
The song admonishes Ghanaians to use sanitizers and pray to God who is the ‘Nyametizer’ due to the fact that the pandemic can only be cured by God.
Over the years, Great Ampong have had some interesting collaborations with some participants of TV3 Mentor like Cee, Isaac the show boy and Erico. Some Ghanaians thought he was out of the music industry but his new song together with other songs has cleared their doubts.
