The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has reacted to the claims that he’s against freebies.
However, in an interview with GH OneTV, the former president stated he is not against freebies.
Mr Mahama is widely seen to be against freebies implemented by incumbent president Akufo-Addo.

President Akufo-Addo implemented the Free SHS and also gave a government relieve on electric and water bills during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Reacting to the claims that he’s against freebies, he said, “I am not against freebies.”
“I am not opposed to free primary healthcare, because it will help us attain universal health for all under the SDG 3. I am not opposed to free water and electric as long as government reinventions the entities providing it.”
