Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has revealed that she has always wanted to be a lawyer when she was growing up.
According to the talented actress, she grew up in a family of lawyers so she thought she will join the line of profession.
Having a flashback of an experience in her childhood that made her realize her passion was really in acting, she stated that she was watching Barney as a child and she saw an ad for actors which was all the way in New York.
Despite the fact that she couldn’t make it to that audition, she engaged in drama in school and any acting gig she could come across.
I’m an interview with Isha Sesay, a former CNN anchor, she said: “I just love to act. I just wanted to be on set. I didn’t care if they were paying me or not. I just had love for the job”.
When asked how she selects her roles, the actress stated that there has to be an intriguing script and a special thing about the character.
She also disclosed that she would love to play the role of a gangster some day.
