High Court Orders FDA to Pay GH¢93 Million to Tobinco Pharmaceuticals

Elder Dr. Samuel Amo Tobbin, CEO of Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited, has expressed satisfaction with a recent Accra High Court ruling that completely exonerated him from allegations of importing fake drugs into Ghana. The court, presided over by Her Ladyship Audrey Kocuvie-Tay, ruled that Tobinco Pharmaceuticals and its chairman, Dr. Tobbin, never imported fake drugs, contrary to claims made by former FDA CEO, Dr. Stephen Kwabena Opuni.

Dr. Tobbin stated that the ruling confirms the integrity of his company, which has consistently produced and marketed high-quality drugs for Ghanaian and African customers. He thanked Ghanaians for their support during the legal battle and reaffirmed Tobinco’s commitment to providing quality healthcare products.
