Helicopter Crash: Children Support Fund Receives Over GHS 3.57 Million and US$20,000 in Donations

The Presidency has disclosed that donations to the Children Support Fund, established for the welfare of children of victims of the August 6 helicopter crash, have reached GHS 3,576,600.00 and US$20,000.00.

The latest update, covering contributions between August 19 and 28, 2025, highlighted donations from notable institutions including Ghana Airport Company Ltd, ARB Apex Bank, STL Foundation, Fidelity Bank, ADB Bank, GLICO General Insurance, and the National Insurance Commission, alongside several individual contributions.

According to the Presidency, donations are being received through designated accounts at Stanbic Bank Ghana. Officials further assured that weekly updates on inflows will be published to promote accountability and transparency in managing the Fund.
