Ghana’s Ahmed Shaib Represents Country at African Weightlifting Congress in Mauritius

President of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation, Jerry Ahmed Shaib, is representing Ghana at the ongoing African Weightlifting Congress in Mauritius. The event, which unites key stakeholders across the continent, is focused on athlete development, governance, and strategic collaboration in weightlifting.

Mr. Shaib engaged with major figures including WFA President Khaled Mhalhel and IWF Vice President Ursula Papandrea, highlighting Ghana’s commitment to advancing the sport.

An Electoral Congress is scheduled for April 22, followed by competitive events featuring top African weightlifters.
