Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, known for her Guinness World Record attempt and role as a Ghana Tourism Authority ambassador, is set to feature prominently at this year’s Ghana Physicians and Surgeons Foundation (GPSF) conference and fundraising dinner dance in North America.
Scheduled for May 17-18 at the Atlanta Buckhead Hotel, USA, the GPSF’s 21st-anniversary conference will focus on “Modern Cancer Care: an integrative approach to excellence, equity, and innovation for Africa.” Following the conference, a fundraising dinner dance will be held to raise funds for healthcare missions and medical education.
As a speaker, Afua Asantewaa will address the theme of endurance and women battling cancer, offering insights and inspiration to attendees. Additionally, she will entertain the audience with her musical talents during the fundraising gala dinner dance.
In an invitation letter signed by Gabriel Asumeng (M.D., MDiv), president of GPSF, Afua Asantewaa was recognized for her influence and dedication to women empowerment, noting her ongoing inspirational work in Ghana.
