Ghanaian medical entrepreneur Dr. William Anarfi Sarpong has filed a GH¢20 million defamation lawsuit against US-based journalist Kevin Taylor and his media outlet, Loud Silence Media.

The lawsuit, submitted to the High Court of Justice in Accra, stems from allegations Taylor made during a Facebook Live broadcast between February 26 and 28, 2025. According to court documents, Taylor accused Dr. Anarfi of fraudulent activities and improper dealings with the Ghanaian government—claims that the entrepreneur strongly denies.

Dr. Anarfi, the owner of Spintex Medical Center, contends that Taylor’s remarks were false and malicious, aimed at damaging his reputation. His legal team, Gomdah & Associates, also stated that Taylor displayed images and personal details of Dr. Anarfi’s family members, further escalating concerns over privacy violations.
