Ghanaian actor Stephen Atangah, widely recognized as Don Little, has been reportedly held in police custody after allegedly being involved in a collision with a motorbike rider.
Eyewitnesses relayed that the incident occurred as Don Little was rushing a friend dealing with suicidal thoughts to the hospital. In the process, he encountered motorcyclists on the road, attempting to maneuver past them to reach the hospital promptly. Unfortunately, his efforts to clear a path reportedly resulted in the collision with a motorbike rider.
An unidentified individual, speaking to Trends GH TV on YouTube, explained, “According to Don Little, his friend called him to intervene as someone they knew was contemplating suicide. While en route to the hospital, he encountered motorcyclists blocking his path. Despite honking for clearance, the attempt was unsuccessful, leading to the collision with one of the riders. Subsequently, a police officer at the scene alleged that Don Little assaulted him, a claim which the actor denied. He was subsequently taken to the Kasoa police station.”
In a dialogue with the police, Don Little expressed his frustration, stating, “I was rushing someone to the hospital, and a motor rider obstructed my path. How can you detain me while I’m taking someone in need of immediate medical attention?”
As of now, the approach the authorities will take regarding this incident remains uncertain.
