Ghana Police Academy Graduates 430 New Officers

In a landmark event at the Ghana Police Academy in Tesano, Accra, 430 officers graduated into the Senior Officer Corps of the Ghana Police Service on October 30, 2024. Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia presided over the ceremony, joined by a delegation of high-ranking officials, including Interior Minister Henry Quartey and Greater Accra Regional Minister Daniel Titus Glover.

Cadet Course 53, consisting of 305 male and 125 female officers, set a new record as the largest intake in the academy’s history, surpassing the previous intake of 344 in Cadet Course 52.

At the ceremony, Achiburi Issah received the honor of Overall Best Cadet Officer, marking the occasion with exceptional distinction.
