Ghana Highways Authority to Begin Maintenance on Atomic Bridge from October 3

The Ghana Highways Authority (GHA) has announced that maintenance work on the Atomic Bridge will begin today, Thursday, October 3, 2024. The repairs, focusing on the bridge’s expansion joints, are expected to last until Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

The GHA has advised motorists to be cautious and follow the instructions of traffic management teams stationed at the site. Traffic interruptions are anticipated, and drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes where possible. Work will take place daily between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
