A German-American billionaire, Karl-Erivan Haub, who went missing in 2018 during a hike in the Alps, has reportedly been found alive and living in Moscow with his 44-year-old mistress (side-chick).
Haub, who was 64 at the time of the discovery, disappeared without a trace during a Swiss holiday in April 2018, sparking a massive search effort that lasted over six days involving five helicopters.
Despite extensive efforts, he was not found, and a German court declared him legally dead in 2021.
The recent revelation comes from a major investigation by German broadcaster RTL, which claims to have located Haub in Moscow, where he is allegedly residing with his mistress, Veronika Ermilova.
The investigation uncovered that Haub had made several long phone calls to Ermilova in the days leading up to his disappearance, raising suspicions that he may have planned his vanishing act.
The case has taken a new turn with the state prosecutor’s office in Cologne opening an investigation into allegations that Haub’s brother, Christian, provided false information in an affidavit regarding his missing brother’s whereabouts.
Karl-Erivan Haub left behind his wife, two children, and his business, the Tengelmann Group, when he disappeared, leaving many questions unanswered until now.
