Some Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) in Ghana have reduced fuel prices at the pumps as the second pricing window for September begins. This marks the fourth consecutive price drop since August.

State-owned GOIL, which previously sold petrol (Super XP) for GH¢14.16, is now offering it at GH¢12.99. Diesel (Diesel XP) has also seen a decrease from GH¢14.70 to GH¢14.49.

The price reductions are linked to falling international prices of refined petroleum products and the improved performance of the Ghanaian Cedi. More OMCs are expected to adjust their prices accordingly in the coming days.
