Fuel prices at the pump have decreased for the second time in a row, with some oil marketing companies adjusting prices as the first pricing window of March begins.

Total Energies has reduced the price of both petrol and diesel from GHS 15.99 per litre in the last pricing window of February to GHS 15.79 per litre in March.

Shell has also followed suit, dropping the price of petrol from GHS 15.89 per litre to GHS 15.72 per litre. Diesel now sells at GHS 15.77 per litre, down from GHS 15.99.

The reductions are attributed to declining crude oil prices on the international market and a slight depreciation of the Ghanaian cedi against the US dollar.

This trend may continue, with more oil marketing companies expected to adjust their prices in the coming days.
