A former Mayor of Accra under the John Agyekum Kuffour era, Solomon Ofei Darko has died.
In a report filed by Ghanaweb.com, the news was announced by his son, Nii Doodu Darko who confirmed the news to the website.
“Hon Solomon Ofei Darko, the former mayor of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly has passed on after a short illness at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital on 31st December, 2021,” the statement said.
The late former Accra Mayor served 2000 through to 2003.
