Mawuse Oliver Baker-Vormawor, one of the lead convenors of #FixTheCountry campaign has been arrested.
Mr Baker-Vormawor was arrested by the East Legon Police for breaking road traffic regulations as he drove in Accra.

The Police picked up Mr Baker-Vormawor after he allegedly failed to observe road marking while driving.
His arrest will likely negatively impact preparations for #FixTheCountry demonstrations scheduled for today, August 4, 2021.
He had been making several media appearances and galvanizing support for today’s campaign.
Announcing his arrest in a post shared on his social media platforms, he said “I have been arrested by the East Legon Police Station. 1 hour now Offence: Refusal to pay a bribe for apparently “failing to observe road markings.” “TheySayIwillSleepHereForTwoDays.”
