Fire Razes Accra Tourist Information Centre – No Casualties Reported

A fire outbreak has engulfed the Accra Tourist Information Centre, drawing a swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

Though the exact time of the incident has not been confirmed, a video posted by the Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President, Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), showed thick smoke billowing from the facility, with visible panic among visitors and nearby workers.

The full extent of the damage is yet to be determined, but fire officers are currently at the scene working to douse the flames and prevent further destruction.
