Finance Minister Releases Funds For EC Temporary Staff; Payments To Be Made Before June 20, 2025

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has officially announced the release of funds by the Ministry of Finance for the payment of allowances to its temporary staff.

In a letter dated Wednesday, June 12, 2025, and signed by the EC Chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensa, the Commission confirmed that the Ministry of Finance had disbursed the necessary funds to settle outstanding payments for temporary workers.

According to the letter, the EC is working diligently to ensure the prompt disbursement of these allowances. Temporary staff are expected to receive their payments on or before Friday, June 20, 2025.

“We thank you for your patience and cooperation,” the letter concluded, assuring staff of the Commission’s commitment to fulfilling its obligations.
