FBI Agents Visits Ghana to Assist EOCO in Ongoing Investigations

Representatives from the Chicago Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have recently visited the Executive Director, COP MYT Addo-Danguah, and the management team of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) in Ghana.

The visiting team consists of a Forensic Accountant and two Special Agents, who are in the country to provide support to EOCO in various forensic investigations currently underway.

During a brief meeting held on Tuesday, February 20th, COP MYT Addo-Danquah provided the FBI officials with an overview of EOCO’s mandate. She also highlighted the longstanding partnership between the two organizations, emphasizing the significance of such collaborations in facilitating effective investigations over the years.

COP MYT Addo-Danquah expressed EOCO’s readiness to collaborate closely with the FBI team on the ongoing investigations, ensuring a fruitful exchange of expertise and resources.
