Lots of feuds and controversies have emerged on social media as Mr. Drew have been reported to Rotimi for sampling his ‘Love Riddim’ without permission.
A viral video on social media captured a perosn who is believed to be a Ghanaian reporting Mr. Drew to Rotimi for sampling his work and making a rendition of it titled ‘Eat’.
Afro dancehall musician Epixode, have stated in a viral video that Ghanaians got no love for each other and there was no need for the person who reported Mr. Drew to do so.
According to him, it came as a shock to him when he learnt that a Ghanaian reported Mr. Drew to Rotimi causing the pull down of the ‘Eat’ video on YouTube.
Speaking in the pidgin language, he said:
“My problem is why a Ghanaian will wake up, but credit and go to Rotimi’s page, inbox him and say somebody from Ghana has stolen your song and featured Stonebwoy, there’s no need.”
Referring to what has happened to Mr. Drew, Epixode questioned why Ghanaians take delight in leveling off one another.
“So why do we take pride and Joy in trying to pull people down.”
Epixode expressed his disappointment concerning the issue and emphatically stated that it was needless for the person to report to Rotimi despite the fact that it breaches copyright laws.
