The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is all set to kick off an initiative called ‘Operation Bill Correction & Payment Drive’ starting on Monday, November 6, and running through Monday, December 11, 2023, across its operational regions.

ECG has disclosed that the primary goal of this operation is to record accurate consumption data for its postpaid customers, ensuring the generation of precise bills and conducting meter reading verifications. This move is aimed at enhancing customer trust in the billing process and facilitating the collection of outstanding dues.

In an official statement released on Sunday, ECG indicated that during this period, regional and district offices will function with a reduced workforce, focusing on delivering essential services to customers. This strategic approach allows top management and staff to actively participate in the initiative.
