The Electoral Commission has announce to open the door of nominations for the Mfantseman Constituency.
The result for opening the closed door of nominating another Parliamentary candidate for the Mfantseman Consitutuency is due to the sudden demise of the late Ekow Hayford,MP for the constituency.

According to a statement released by the Electoral, “Any person who intends to contest for the Parliamentary Election should send his or her filled Nomination Form to the Returning Officer of the Mfantseman constituency, at the Mfantseman District Office of the Electoral Commission. The Returning Officer shall receive all Nominations between the hours of 7.00 am and 5.00 pm on both days.”
Meanwhile,there are news circulating that the Ophelia Hayford,wife of the late murdered Member Of Parliament for the Mfansteman constituency, has been selected by a branch of the New Patriotic Party to replace her husband and contest for the parliamentary seat in the constituency.
