Election 2024: Mahama Predicted to Win with 52.2% – Global InfoAnalytics

Research firm Global InfoAnalytics has projected a decisive victory for John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, in Ghana’s upcoming 2024 presidential election.

According to the report, Mahama is expected to secure 52.2% of the vote, defeating the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is projected to garner 41.4%. Other candidates, including Alan Kyeremanten and independent candidate Nana Kwame Bediako, are forecasted to receive 2.5% and 3.0%, respectively, with minor candidates collectively accounting for 0.9%.

Parliamentary Predictions

The NDC is also projected to dominate the parliamentary landscape with an estimated 150 seats, compared to the NPP’s 99 seats. One independent candidate is predicted to secure a seat, while 29 constituencies remain highly competitive.
